Watercolor Materials We do rent materials at classes, but if you really want to continue on your own, you'll want to have your own supplies. At a minimum, you'll need: 140lb cold pressed watercolor paper A flat, white, non-absorbant palette (a plastic plate works well) A container to hold water Simply Painting 3/4" Goat Hair Brush Simply Painting Rigger Brush Alizarin Crimson Lemon Yellow Cobalt Blue Burnt Umber There are all sorts of other things you can add to this. Sometimes other colors are nice to have, as well. Some things that I find nice to have include: Raw Sienna Paynes Grey Ultramarine Blue Cadmium Red Hair Dryer Paper Towels You'll figure out other things as you work on your own! |
